Gary Coleman is being remembered as the star of the TV series "Diff'rent Strokes" that was in first run from 1978-86,

I remember first seeing Gary Coleman guesting on the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson . He must have been no more than eleven. He impressed the audience. He impressed Johnny Carson and he stole the show. He was a little kid who was very much at ease before the camera, with perfect timing and delivery. He had a very bit of funny comedy in an exchange with Johnny Carson that set the audience laughing. I was a fan of the show "Diff'rent Strokes," and I spent many hours watching him on that show, and laughing.
